Excursion to "Icheri Sheher" (Old City) (X-XIX centuries), with a visit to the museum of the complex "Palace of the Shirvanshahs", as well as the "Maiden Tower". Walk along the ancient streets of the "Old City".
Dinner at a restaurant in Novkhani (in the village of Jorat), where the main hot appetizer is Kutab. The specialty of this dish is camel meat, they are also prepared with greens and lamb. Pomegranate or barberry is often added to Kutabs. This gives the dish a slightly sour taste. It is customary for Kutabs to use gatig sauce (a fermented milk product.) The second dish you can try is kebab. There are several types of kebab, one of the most common types of which is lula kebab. Soft meat with onions and spices.
But the main dish in Jorat is still considered Bozbash. It is still prepared according to the ancient recipe. Large meatballs and necessarily peas and potatoes are added to this soup, prepared on the basis of lamb broth. After lunch, tea is traditionally served from a samovar.

Departure to Lankaran.
Dinner at a local restaurant where you will try the traditional Lankaran dish "Lavyangi". Its main ingredient is walnut with sumac (finely chopped barberry). This amazing filling is added to chicken or fish.
The dish is baked not only in the oven, but also in the national oven "tandoor". There they bake not only fish and chicken, but also "tandoor" bread.

Departure to Gabala via the Muganli Pass (photo stops in the most picturesque places of the Caucasus Range). On the way you will visit the Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum in the city of Shemakha.
Arrival in Gabala.
Dinner at a restaurant. The table in this region is always covered with medlar pickles, cherry plums, and traditional white cucumbers for this region (they are grown only in Gabala). You will also have a great opportunity to try kebab cooked between stones.
Gabala is also famous for its special jam. Its highlight is walnut. You can taste the real taste only in Gabala itself.

Departure from the hotel. Departure to Sheki.
Visit to the fortress "Gelersen Gorersen" (Come and See). Walk along the road of the old city of Sheki (Yuksi-Baksh). Visit to the "Palace of Sheki Khan" (A striking example of palace architecture of the late Safavid period).
Visit to the Sheki Silk Factory. Introduction to old methods of making silk fabrics. Visit to the “Sheki Caravanserai”. Dinner in the caravanserai. Sheki is rightfully famous for its sweets, such as Sheki Baklava, Baamiya, Halva. But no guest can resist the Sheki dolma, made from grape leaves and lamb.
In addition to Dolma, Sheki has another traditional dish - piti. This dish is cooked in separate clay pots. Lamb and fried meat, peas are put in the pot. All this is filled with water and cooked.

A traditional dish of Baku is pilaf with chestnuts and meat. It is prepared according to a special recipe in a special cast iron cauldron. The meat is fried in a separate pan with onions, and then cherry plum with chestnuts and raisins are added.
Sadzh is a special round cast iron pot, which is held on a tripod. In Sadzh you can cook: meat, vegetables, potatoes. And on the other side of Sadzh you can bake lavash, kutaby. Dinner traditionally ends with tea from a samovar with national sweets.
